    • ‘Botox’ injections take 2-3 weeks to fully “kick in.” We can see you back within that time frame to make any necessary adjustments.

    • It is normal to experience mild bruising, eyelid swelling, and under-eye swelling.

    • Please stay upright for at least 4 hours after your injections.

    • You may gently use a clean ice pack in 15-minute intervals, if necessary, for pain/swelling for the first 24 hours.

    • Please avoid any vigorous facial massage, especially in between your eyebrows.

    • It is okay to wash your face and complete your skincare routine, just be gentle.

    • It is normal to feel slightly "tight" or "heavy" around 2-3 weeks, when the treatment is at its peak.

    • No exercise, make-up, or hot baths/saunas for 24 hours after your procedure.

    • No hats or pressure on the injection point(s) for the remainder of the day.

    • Please avoid any further facial treatments or massages for two weeks following your injections.

  • If you notice any of the following emergency signs, please call or text (716) 218-0010 immediately: Intense pain that does not go away, skin that looks white, or an area of mottled red or purple skin that seems to be worsening and becoming more painful.

    • Absolutely no travel until at least 48 hours after dermal filler injection.

    • Absolutely no dental work for three weeks after injections.

    • Swelling, bruising, and mild tenderness are normal (especially in the lips). This peaks around day 2-3 but can persist for a few weeks.

    • Dermal fillers take about 4-6 weeks to completely ‘settle.’

Lips: All of the above, plus:

    • If your lips were injected, avoid straws.

    • Let your lips settle and heal for about 5-7 days, once the bulk of the swelling and tenderness has gone down.

    • If, when you smile big (so your lips are stretched), you see any little bumps, you may gently massage the bump or even scratch it with a clean nail. Only rub the area with the bump; do not vigorously massage the entire lip.

Please call or text with any questions.
